Hephaestus & Nymphs

Event source: Basic Calendar Events
12:00 AM
Hephaestus (Vulcan in Roman parlance) was the god of the forge and by extension all crafts and arts of physical labor. The nymphs, usually understood as feminine sprites or wild faeries, were associated with arts such as spinning and weaving and pottery.

In ritual, consider the value of beautiful and well-made things. If Hephaestus represents brute engineering, then the nymphs represent elegant design. Let your work with groups and alone today reflect the essential tension and beauty apparent in the relationship between those two capabilities.
